SMART Music - Industry Shakedown Radio (Fridays 7pm) Timeless Truth
For everyone into that 90's hip-hop sound, I want to introduce you to a weekly internet radio show based here in NYC. Broadcasting live from Baruch College, 87.9fm WBMB, INDUSTRY SHAKEDOWN RADIO is on every Friday from 7-9pm (Eastern time). Unfortunately, you could only tune in on the radio if you are in the area around 24th st. but you can always listen live online. So, if you are by a computer at that time today, definitely check in. You can also check out some clips from past shows on the youtube page: http://www.youtube.com/industryshakedown

In their words: "Industry Shakedown Radio devised a blueprint to create a hip hop show that would pick up in the steps left behind by college radio pioneers such as Stretch and Bobbito. They have showcased up-and-coming/buzzing talent from artists such as Timeless Truth, Meyhem Lauren, Action Bronson, Loj, Prophit, P.Casso and many more. At the same time, they have had the opportunity to pay homage to some of hip hops unsung heroes such as Large Professor, Sadat X, Ayatollah, PF Cuttin, El Da Sensei, Cormega and JuJu (of The Beatnuts) on their show..."
This show is also hosted by my man Solace who is part of the group Timeless Truth (w/ Oprime and DJ Precision.) Check out a recent track they did featuring Kool G Rap "World Renown (Corona Queens Remix)":
